As a project manager, I supervise the production and publicity timelines of a title in-process, acting as the main liaison between authors and the media while guiding a book through all stages of production, editorial, marketing, publicity, design, and sales.
– Creating and implementing marketing and publicity strategy plans
– Building and maintaining professional media relationships
– Communication liason between the author, publisher, media contacts, and industry publications
– Editing incoming titles
– Pursuing media and publicity contacts and partnerships
– Event planning (launch party and book tour)
– Writing and editing marketing content and copy
